  • Brown & white card stock
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Jumbo wooden craft stick
  • Photograph
  • Kids paint markers
  • Pencil

How to Make a Baseball Glove Father's Day Card

Print the baseball glove pattern (get the FREE printable craft template here) and cut out the pieces (glove, ball, tab).

Printable FREE baseball glove pattern to make pop-up Father's Day Card

Trace pattern onto card stock or thick paper and cut out the pieces.

Cut a slit in the middle of the glove where you will insert the photo. There is a line on the printable pattern to serve as a guide for placement.

Decorate your glove and baseball.

TIP: We used Kwik Stix Thin Stix paint markers because they are easy for kids to handle, beautifully vibrant, and dry in about 60 seconds.

Trim a photo to be slightly narrower than the baseball. Glue the top of the photo to the bottom of the baseball. The baseball should overlap about 1/4 – 1/2″ of the front of the photo.

Glue a jumbo wooden craft stick to the back of the photo and baseball, leaving about 2 inches of the stick out.

Slide photo into the slit you cut in the baseball glove. Flip card over and glue the stopper tab to the bottom edges of the back of the photo. This will keep the photo from falling out of the card. It will look like this:

Flip card back over and finish decorating the front with your custom message.
